How do I create my athlete profile?

Creating your athlete profile is simple:

  1. Click “Sign Up” on the homepage
  2. Choose “Athlete” as your account type
  3. Fill in your basic information (name, email, sport, skill level)
  4. Upload a profile photo (optional but recommended)
  5. Set your training goals and preferences
  6. Verify your email address

Once complete, you'll have access to all athlete features including session booking, progress tracking, and community features.

What sports does Podia support?

Podia supports a wide range of sports including basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, track and field, baseball, volleyball, hockey, and many more. If you don't see your sport listed, contact us and we'll work to add it to our platform.

Is Podia free to use?

Podia offers both free and premium plans:

  • Free Plan: Basic profile, session booking, and community access
  • Premium Plan: Advanced analytics, unlimited bookings, priority support, and exclusive features
  • Team Plans: Special pricing for clubs, schools, and organizations

You can start with our free plan and upgrade anytime as your needs grow.

How do I book a training session?

Booking a session is easy:

  1. Go to the “Book Session” page
  2. Select your sport and location preferences
  3. Choose from available coaches or facilities
  4. Pick your preferred date and time
  5. Confirm your booking and payment

You'll receive a confirmation email with all the details, and the session will appear in your calendar.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Yes! You can cancel or reschedule bookings up to 24 hours before the session start time. Go to “My Bookings” in your dashboard, find the session, and click “Cancel” or “Reschedule”. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a fee depending on the coach's policy.

What if a coach cancels my session?

If a coach needs to cancel your session, you'll be notified immediately via email and in-app notification. You'll receive a full refund and can rebook with the same coach or choose a different one. We also offer priority rebooking to minimize disruption to your training schedule.

How does performance tracking work?

Podia's performance tracking includes:

  • Session Logs: Automatic tracking of attended sessions
  • Goal Setting: Set and monitor personal objectives
  • Progress Charts: Visual representation of your improvement
  • Coach Feedback: Receive and track feedback from trainers
  • Milestone Recognition: Celebrate achievements and breakthroughs

All data is private by default, but you can choose to share progress with coaches or teammates.

Can I set custom goals?

Absolutely! You can set both short-term and long-term goals. Examples include improving your 5K time, increasing bench press weight, or mastering a new skill. The platform will help track your progress toward these goals and suggest relevant training sessions.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers. For team accounts, we also offer invoice billing and purchase orders. All payments are processed securely through our encrypted payment system.

How do refunds work?

Refund policies vary by situation:

  • Coach Cancellation: Full refund within 24 hours
  • Your Cancellation (24+ hours notice): Full refund
  • Your Cancellation (less than 24 hours): Subject to coach's policy
  • No-show: No refund, but may be waived for emergencies

Refunds typically process within 3-5 business days to your original payment method.
